Terms of Service

1) Service provider and contact

2) Eligibility and account responsibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter these Terms.
• The date of birth and other registration information you provide must be accurate. Current age checks rely on the date you declare and are not independent ID verification.
• Create only your own account unless Yahalaly expressly supports another role, such as an invited guardian account.
• Keep credentials confidential, use a unique password, and notify support promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
• Do not return after suspension or removal without written permission.
• The service may not be used where its use would violate applicable law.

3) Current trust checks

Email confirmation shows control of an email address. Manual profile and photo review checks platform suitability. A member may also submit a statement for manual trust review. None of these steps proves a government identity, criminal history, employment, education, marital status, religious practice, or safety.

You must make your own inquiries and decisions. A badge, approved profile, match, compatibility score, guardian link, or conversation is not an endorsement by Yahalaly.

4) Serious and respectful use

Yahalaly is intended for sincere, adult Muslim matchmaking oriented toward marriage. You must follow the Community Guidelines and respect another person's boundaries, privacy, and right to end contact.

• No harassment, threats, stalking, hate, humiliation, sexual coercion, or repeated unwanted contact.
• No impersonation, catfishing, false relationship intention, material deception, or misleading identity claims.
• No request for money, investments, crypto, gift cards, banking access, verification codes, or financial rescue.
• No sharing another person's profile, photos, messages, recordings, contact details, or report information without a lawful basis and their permission.
• No exploitation of minors, trafficking, non-consensual intimate material, or unlawful sexual content.
• No spam, unauthorized promotion, recruitment, scraping, bots, malware, security probing, or attempts to bypass access controls.

5) Your content and profile

You keep ownership of content you provide. You grant the service provider a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transform for secure delivery, moderate, reproduce, and display that content only as reasonably needed to operate, protect, and improve Yahalaly and comply with law. The license ends when the content is erased, except for lawful retention, safety evidence, backups, or material already shared at your direction.

You must have the right to upload the content, and it must be accurate enough not to mislead another member. Yahalaly may hold, reject, restrict, or remove content that violates these Terms or creates a safety or legal risk.

6) Recommendations, matching, and member decisions

Yahalaly filters and scores possible introductions from the profile, preference, values, intention, and lifestyle information available at the time. The methodology is explained publicly and may be updated to improve relevance, fairness, security, or performance.

A score is approximate context, not a prediction or guarantee. Yahalaly does not guarantee introductions, replies, mutual matches, compatibility, engagement, marriage, religious suitability, or any relationship outcome. You remain responsible for every interaction and off-platform decision.

7) Photos and consent

A member can choose public, blurred-until-match, or hidden-until-request visibility. Public photos are available to eligible viewers. Blurred-until-match photos become clear automatically after a mutual match. Hidden-until-request photos require a request and the owner's approval. You must not attempt to bypass these controls, derive an original from a preview, or copy, record, republish, train on, or misuse another person's image.

A mutual-match reveal or approved hidden-photo reveal is permission to view within the matchmaking context, not permission to distribute or use the image elsewhere. The owner can change future visibility, although Yahalaly cannot retrieve copies another person made outside the service in violation of these Terms.

8) Guardian mode

Guardian tools are optional. An invitation connects a particular account after acceptance by the invited email address. Silent-viewer and chaperone modes have different product permissions, and a guardian group conversation requires the applicable member connection and consent setting.

The feature does not establish a religious or legal wali relationship, verify a guardian's identity, or authorize a guardian to consent, match, reveal photos, or decide on behalf of another adult through Yahalaly. Guardians and members must not use the feature for coercion, secret surveillance, or unauthorized disclosure.

9) Blocking, reports, and moderation

Blocking is an immediate member control that prevents normal interaction and ends an active match. A report is a separate request for review. Yahalaly may review relevant account, message, photo, interaction, technical, and audit context; request information; preserve evidence; and take proportionate action.

Actions may include no action, a request for changes, warning, content removal, feature restriction, suspension, or account removal. Urgent safety risks receive priority when identified, but no response time or perfect prevention is guaranteed. Yahalaly is not an emergency service.

10) Free founding-member access

Paid checkout is disabled at launch. Creating or using an account does not begin a paid trial, request a card, authorize a charge, or create an automatic renewal. Current founding-member access is offered without a fee.

If paid features are introduced, the price, included features, billing period, renewal, cancellation, and refund rights will be shown before purchase under updated terms. An existing free account will not be charged automatically merely because payment options become available.

11) Intellectual property and acceptable technical access

The Yahalaly software, original interface, brand assets, and editorial materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. These Terms permit personal use of the service; they do not transfer Yahalaly's rights to you.

• Do not copy or commercially reuse protected service material beyond a lawful quotation, personal reference, or other right granted by law.
• Do not reverse engineer, scrape, bulk extract, index private pages, or access an endpoint except through supported normal use, unless applicable law grants a non-waivable right.
• Do not interfere with availability, security, rate limits, authentication, moderation, or another person's experience.

12) Availability and changes

Yahalaly is an early-stage service and may change, pause, limit, or discontinue features for security, legal, operational, or product reasons. Reasonable notice will be given for material adverse changes where practicable and legally required.

The service is provided with reasonable care but may experience downtime, errors, delivery failures, or loss of access. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or remedy that applicable consumer law does not allow us to exclude.

13) Account closure and termination

You can stop using Yahalaly and use the authenticated account-erasure control. It removes member profile and interaction data, deletes stored photos, revokes access, and replaces direct account identifiers with a restricted deletion tombstone. Limited safety evidence, audit records, or data required by law may remain as explained in the Privacy Policy.

Yahalaly may restrict, suspend, or remove access for a Terms violation, safety risk, legal requirement, security incident, or misuse. Where appropriate, you may request review at safety@yahalaly.com, but confidential safety information about another person may not be disclosed.

14) Responsibility and liability

You are responsible for your conduct, content, decisions, meetings, and off-platform interactions. To the extent permitted by law, Yahalaly is not responsible for conduct by members or third parties that it could not reasonably prevent, or for indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when these Terms were accepted.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including applicable liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or mandatory consumer rights. The exact legal standard depends on the law that applies to you and the service provider.

15) Applicable law and dispute contact

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the service provider in Germany, subject to any mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rights that apply where you live.

Contact support@yahalaly.com first with the account email, relevant dates, and a clear description so the issue can be assessed. This informal step does not remove a non-waivable right to contact a regulator, consumer body, or court.

16) Changes to these Terms

Material changes receive a new effective date and reasonable notice where required. If a change requires renewed consent, continued use alone will not replace that consent. If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using the service and close the account.
