Yahalaly
How it works

From a complete profile to a considered introduction

Yahalaly is designed to make each stage understandable. Nothing on the platform can establish that someone is right for you; the product helps you gather context and make your own careful decision.

1. Confirm you are eligible

Create an account with your email address, password, date of birth, and matching direction. Yahalaly is for adults 18+ only. Email confirmation checks control of the email address; the entered birth date is self-declared and is not independent age verification.

2. Complete a useful profile

Add the information another person needs for a serious first decision: location, marriage timing, family preferences, faith practice, lifestyle, boundaries, and a short introduction. Optional fields can be left blank.

3. Pass manual profile review

Profiles are reviewed before they can appear in discovery. Review checks platform suitability and visible consistency; it does not prove a legal identity, run a criminal-record check, or guarantee that every statement is accurate.

4. Receive filtered, scored introductions

Mutual matching direction, age preferences, blocks, prior actions, and selected dealbreakers filter the pool. A compatibility score then summarizes shared values answers, marriage intention, and lifestyle signals. You can inspect shared priorities and topics worth discussing.

5. Choose how to respond

  • Like when you want a mutual introduction.
  • Save when you need time without signaling interest.
  • Pass and optionally record private feedback to improve your own process.
  • Block when you do not want further contact.

6. Match, message, and manage photos

Messaging begins after a mutual match. Public photos are visible to eligible members. Blurred-until-match photos automatically become clear after a mutual match. Hidden-until-request photos remain fully hidden until the other member requests access and the photo owner approves.

7. Add family support if you choose

A member can invite a trusted adult as a guardian viewer or chaperone. Group conversation requires the necessary connection and consent settings. Guardian mode supports a process; it does not transfer the member's consent or decision-making authority.

8. Report or leave at any time

Blocking ends the match and prevents normal interaction. Reports can include relevant conversation, message, or photo context for manual moderation. If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services rather than waiting for platform review.
